Spring Zen Retreat

Saturday, April 10, 2010, 8:00 AM to 6 PM

with Tendo Fusho
Open Mind Zen Center, Florida

Ven. Tendo Fusho Sensei (Al Rapaport), will be visiting Nebraska en route to other places where he is also scheduled to hold retreats. This will be the first retreat at Lotus Zen Temple led by a guest Zen Master. We are honored to welcome such a preeminent figure in the global Zen world to Lincoln. — Tendo Fusho has practiced and taught Zen for almost 40 years. He studied with Kozan Roshi, Maezumi Roshi, and Genpo Roshi; and was an assistant teacher at Kanzeon Sangha in Salt Lake City (Utah) until moving to Florida in 2001. As President of Open Mind Productions, Tendo Fusho conceived of and produced the Buddhism in America Conferences in Boston, San Diego, Denver and New York City. He is author of Open Mind Zen: A Guide to Meditation in Modern Times and compiler/editor of Buddhism in America. In 2002 Tendo Fusho developed Open Mind Zen as a way for every practitioner to progress in what has been a primarily monastic tradition in the past.
