All meditation groups or sanghas listed here are affiliated with Lotus Zen Temple (LZT) and led by at least an ordained meditation director (Upasaka).
Zen is two things: meditation and sweeping the garden. It doesn't matter how big your garden is.
(Oda Sessô Rôshi)
As you realize that Zen is just within you, how you have the keys to the truth and don't need another thing, it is time to reassess: when the student is ready, the master appears. There is nothing more effective for continuing the journey than to find a teacher and join a sangha, or community. Sitting in a group is powerful — feeling the energy of the group, smelling the incense, hearing the bells, chanting ... Your garden awaits.
